We’ll make it easy on ourselves and bridge the first 600 altimeters by gondola. From there you have stunning views on Bartholomäberg, the Silbertalvalley and the skiing slopes Hochjoch. Our ascent by foot will ‘only’ be 320 meters along beautiful trails with views on the Drei Türme. These mountaintops are visible from the whole north of Montafon. Further along the trail smoothly descents to the mountainhut at the end of the valley.
In the meanwhile, we can take a break at an Alpe (summer farm) where they make cheese and so called Buttermilch from their own milk. The views at the mountaintops over 2800 meters high are breathtaking. The trails can be a bit smaller now and then, but very well walkable.
After an extensive break at the mountainhut we start our way back along a winding trail, out the valley. We’ll pass two more Alps and take a 2nd (ord 3rd) break at the last mountainhut.
A beautiful relaxed dayhike without a lot of ascent and descent. Because of the length of the walk, a reasonable condition is wanted.
